Applying to the NEA for an American Rescue Plan grant is a 2-part process:
- The deadline for Part 1 (submitting the Short Organization Form/SF-424 via Grants.gov) is August 12. Applicants can’t move on to Part 2 unless they complete Part 1 by the deadline, and this is why we emphasize this deadline to prospective applicants.
- The deadline for Part 2 (submitting materials to the NEA Applicant Portal) depends on the first letter of the applicant organization’s legal name. For Group A – L, the Applicant Portal will be open August 19 – 25. For Group M – Z, the Applicant Portal will be open August 27 – September 2.
